A father purchased land in his son’s name, and had the certificate of title registered in his son’s name, with the intention of securing the land for his son in case of his (the father’s) death, but stipulating at the time of the purchase that the son should work the land during the father’s life, giving him half the proceeds and retaining the other half. The father kept the duplicate certificate of title himself.
