Parties are not entitled under sec. 14 of Act No. 557 to go to the office of the Registrar-General and ask an officer to find out an affidavit for them. They are required to give sufficient description of the document so as to enable the officer to produce it for their inspection. In order to enable a party to ask for the production of an affidavit for inspection, he should claim inspection of the book which contains the particulars and description of the affidavit, which he is entitled to do upon payment of one shilling, and having obtained sufficient description and particulars he is then entitled, upon payment of another shilling, to require the officer to produce for his inspection the affidavit answering such description and particulars.
