Section 104B(5A) of the Accident Compensation Act 1985 (“the Act”) required a worker to include all injuries arising out of the “same event or circumstance” in a claim under s 98C of the Act for lump sum compensation. Section 104B(5AA) provided that a worker was only entitled to make one claim for compensation under s 98C in respect of injuries arising out of the same event or circumstance.
